Currently, appointment availability is limited by a number of factors and if there are no appointments listed in the booking app, then that means Victoria’s availability is at capacity—yay for her, but not so much for you!

That being said, you sill have options:

  1. Book the next available appointment before someone else gets there first.
  2. Add your name to a waitlist in the Jane App, for last minute cancellations. Please note, should you secure a last minute cancellation spot, you will still be billed the full session fee.
  3. Like and Follow Latitude Counselling on social media for availability updates and calls for new client intakes.

At this time, Victoria is only able to provide support for adults (ages 18+ who are no longer enrolled in secondary school). Parents looking to access support for their school-aged children are encouraged to contact SK211 to learn more about additional counselling services provided in their area.

The first session costs $135 for a 90 minute Intake Session. These sessions are mandatory for all new clients. All bookings following Intake cost $100 for a 60 minute Counselling Session currently. Taxes are included in our prices, so there are no unexpected costs!

Unless otherwise arranged prior to scheduled counselling session, all payments are due at the time of service. Clients will receive an invoice directly to their email.

Latitude Counselling currently accepts payment by credit card through your account on the Jane App booking portal or by e-transfer to victoria@thelatitudecounsellor.com.

If finances create a barrier for your access to services, please contact victoria@thelatitudecounsellor.com to discuss sliding scale payment options.

Think of this as a Pay What You Can option for clients experiencing service barriers due to financial limitations. Sliding Scale Payment Options provide the client and counsellor an opportunity to discuss an equitable solution to financial barriers. After contacting victoria@thelatitudecounsellor.com, Victoria will set up a free 15-minute consultation directly with the client to discuss a more affordable service fee.

Please note: Sliding Scale Payment Options are only provided in a limited capacity, while space is available. Please be mindful that assessing financial need may require clients to share information regarding their monthly income and health benefits.

Please contact your benefit plan provider to learn more about submitting your counselling receipt for reimbursement.

Victoria is currently applying to be registered as a service provider with Non-Insured Health Benefits. She will soon be able to accept and provide services to clients who qualify under the NIHB program. Check back often to see if she has been registered under NIHB.

Please Note: All clients intending to utilize NIHB must indicate that on their Client Intake and Consent form. To submit your bill to NIHB, Victoria will need clients to share their Treaty Status number on the form as well.

The Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program provides eligible First Nations and Inuit clients with coverage for a up to 22-hours of fee-for-service mental health counselling in a 12-month time span. Additional hours in the same 12 month period may be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Victoria will be able to bill to NIHB once she’s completed the registration process. If you intend to utilize this program, please indicate that on your Self-Referral. To learn if you qualify for NIHB, how to apply, and more, visit the Government of Canada NIHB page.
