Meet Victoria, the face behind Latitude Counselling

Victoria has worked, played, and lived in Saskatchewan her entire life. Despite a love of adventure and travel, she always finds her way back home. Currently, she is grateful to live in Southeast Saskatchewan, Treaty 4 Territory.

She is a Registered Social Worker. After graduating from university with her Bachelor of Social Work, Victoria started working as a school counsellor. Though she loves working with students and youth, Victoria quickly saw a need for private and accessible counselling services in the rural communities of Southeast Saskatchewan. She developed Latitude Counselling to meet that need.

Victoria uses a trauma-informed and client-centered approach to her counselling practice. In the past, she has supported people struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, grief, disordered eating, gender violence, sexuality, relationship conflict, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and more. Additionally, Victoria remains committed to supporting BIPOC, Queer, and Neurodiverse peoples.

When she’s not offering accessible counselling services, Victoria enjoys reading too much, singing way off-key, playing video games, and going on adventures with her husband and daughter.
